What time does the Pollensa Old town market open?

The Pollensa Market is held every Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the center of the town, in the Plaza Major and surroundings.

The traditional market in Pollensa Old Town (Mallorca) typically opens at 8:00 AM every Sunday. In 2026, it remains one of the most popular cultural events on the island, attracting both locals and tourists to the Plaza Mayor and surrounding narrow streets. The market stays active until approximately 1:30 PM, at which point vendors begin to pack up their stalls to allow the local restaurants to set up their outdoor seating for Sunday lunch. To see the market at its best and avoid the peak 2026 crowds, it is recommended to arrive by 9:00 AM. This gives you first pick of the fresh local produce, artisan cheeses, leather goods, and traditional Mallorcan textiles. The atmosphere is vibrant, with the sounds of local chatter and the smell of fresh ensaimadas. If you arrive late (after 12:30 PM), you may find that some of the most popular food vendors have already sold out, though you might find some "end-of-day" bargains on crafts and souvenirs as the market winds down.
