When should I buy tickets to Disneyland?

Regardless of when you're visiting Disneyland, we recommend purchasing your tickets now to lock-in current prices. Currently, tickets are valid for travel through December 31, 2025. You do not need to know your exact travel dates to purchase multi-day tickets!



For a 2026 visit to Disneyland, the best time to buy tickets is as soon as you have confirmed your travel dates, ideally 3 to 6 months in advance. Because Disneyland now requires both a valid ticket and a Theme Park Reservation, buying early ensures you get into your preferred park on your chosen day, especially during "high-demand" periods like Spring Break, Halloween, or the Christmas season. In 2026, Disney continues to use "Tiered Pricing," where ticket costs fluctuate based on the date; mid-week visits in late January, February, or September are the cheapest ($104 for a 1-day ticket). Buying early also "locks in" the current price, protecting you from the annual price hikes that typically occur in October or February. If you are looking for discounts, check for "California Resident" deals in the spring or "limited-time" summer offers for the general public. A "pro" strategy is to use a reputable third-party seller like Undercover Tourist to save a few dollars per ticket, but ensure you link them to the Disneyland app immediately to make your required reservations.
