Where do you enter for California Adventure?

Disney California Adventure has two entrances, the Main entrance on Buena Vista Street facing Disneyland and the other entrance is through the Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

The main entrance for Disney California Adventure Park is located in the Disneyland Resort Esplanade, directly across from the main entrance of Disneyland Park. If you are arriving from the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals parking structures, you will take the tram or walk to the Esplanade, where the California Adventure gates are marked by the iconic "Golden State" style architecture. However, in 2026, there are two important "secondary" entrances: guests staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa have a dedicated private entrance located near the Grizzly Peak area of the park. Additionally, guests staying at the Pixar Place Hotel (formerly Paradise Pier) have their own dedicated entrance located across the street, which leads directly into the Paradise Gardens Park section of California Adventure. For the general public, the only entry is through the main turnstiles at Buena Vista Street, which is where you will find the main Bag Check and Ticket Booths if you haven't already cleared security.
