Travel services by EurostarYou will have to drop off the item at our luggage area before heading to the departures. Items will be handed back on the platform upon arrival so make sure you only bring what you can safely carry. No trolley will be provided. Maximum weight for registered luggage is 30kg.
You + Two Bags = No Extra ChargeWhen you travel with us, you can carry-on two free pieces of luggage. Each item should not exceed 50 lbs. (23 kg) and needs to be 28 x 22 x 14 inches in size.
Luggage theft on trains is as rare as theft of airline baggage, just use common sense. Put your bags where you can see them from your seat, ideally on the racks directly above your head or on floor-standing racks inside the seating area close to your seat.
Labelling your bags is mandatory on all Eurostar and French trains, so you should affix a label that includes the passenger's full name. Paper labels can normally be found at large stations (e.g. Eurostar terminals) but we recommend purchasing something more sturdy that will last more than one trip.

Until two years ago, passengers could just show their passports for often quick checks, but since 2021, after Britain left the European Union, British travelers in both directions have been required to get their passports stamped.
But, whichever station you're catching the Eurostar from, you'll need to make sure you've printed your tickets at least 45 minutes beforehand - this gives you time to check in and board the train. You'll also need your ID to check in.
Unlike airlines, we don't limit the volume of liquids you can carry, so you can take all your toiletries with you, and even squeeze in a bottle of bubbly for the trip if you like.
We appreciate that passengers often want to bring a few bottles back from their trip and we are happy for customers to bring unopened bottles of alcohol to take on to their destination.
Contact the train operator: The first step is to contact the train operator to report the lost luggage. They will have a lost and found department that can help you search for your luggage and provide you with information on how to claim it if it is found.
Lock Checked LuggageSome suitcases come with locks pre-installed that require a combination in order to open the bag. If your suitcase does not have this, you can invest in a TSA-approved luggage lock to keep your valueables safe.
