Which Disney park is best on a rainy day? Based on the usual summer forecast, we'd recommend a plan that includes visiting Animal Kingdom in the morning and EPCOT in the afternoon. Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios each have a fair amount of indoor attractions.

Some parks are better to visit on rainy days than others. At EPCOT, the only attraction that would close due to weather is Test Track. Most of the other rides — along with plenty of restaurants and shops — are located in Future World and are relatively close together so you wouldn't have to walk far in the rain.

The fireworks are never fully cancelled if they were set by the pyro CM's, but can be severely delayed. If there's a ton of rain or very high winds then fireworks can be postponed for hours. It doesn't happen too often, but it does happen.

The truth is, when it is rainy outside, the parks will be a lot less busy. So if you can handle it, you will often find that you can get a lot done during a storm. But, if you prefer to stay totally out of the rain, there are other things you can do on property that are still a lot of fun.

Going to Walt Disney World after a hurricane or tropical storm is a different experience but is still fun. The weather isn't the best, but this is the time to run through puddles and experience low wait times. Of course, if you don't feel safe driving, then don't visit the parks.

Disney World announced that visitors can cancel or reschedule their trip within seven days of the hurricane warning and will not have to pay any fees. However, Disney World will only accept those cancelations or reschedules for customers who booked their tickets through Disney World.

Kilimanjaro Safaris is one of Animal Kingdom's busiest attractions, along with Expedition Everest and the two Pandora attractions. Waits diminish in the late afternoon, sometimes as early as 3:30 p.m. The ride does operate when it's raining, if possible, but it may close if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
