Which is faster Tron or Guardians?

While Disney Imagineering noted that TRON is the fastest roller coaster they have ever built, there is one ride found at EPCOT that tops the list. Here are the fastest rides at Walt Disney World: Test Track (65 mph) Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (60 mph)

When comparing the top speeds of these two flagship Walt Disney World roller coasters, TRON Lightcycle / Run is faster than Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. TRON, located in Magic Kingdom, reaches a top speed of approximately 59 miles per hour (95 km/h) during its initial high-speed outdoor launch, making it one of the fastest rides at the resort. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, located in EPCOT, reaches a top speed of roughly 60 miles per hour (97 km/h) according to some technical specs, but its "official" cruising speed is generally cited slightly lower than TRON's peak intensity. However, "Guardians" is often perceived as more intense because it features a reverse launch and "omnimovers" that rotate the ride vehicles 360 degrees while moving along the track in the dark. TRON is a more traditional "sprint" coaster that emphasizes raw forward velocity and aerodynamic "leaning" positions. While the speeds are remarkably close, TRON holds the reputation for that sudden, powerful burst of speed that mimics the digital world of the Grid, whereas Guardians focuses on a fluid, "cosmic" dance through space that relies on rotation rather than just sheer linear miles per hour.

TRON does move up and down a fair bit, but there's very little of that “stomach-drop” feeling with your feet leaving the floor. That's for two reasons. The first is that on a Lightcycle your head points down, not your feet. But the bigger reason is that almost all of TRON's rise-and-drop motion includes a turn.
