Who cleans escape to the chateau?

We don't have a team of cleaners, although we do have helpers when we have events... I love cleaning though, so it's no problem! We don't use all the rooms when we don't have guests staying, so really it's only like cleaning a 'normal' house when we are here on our own.

Happily Ever After: Well most of the Chateau owners have kept their dream alive. However there was places that no longer have their presented owners and in the case of Nicole and Stephan of Château d'Humières, they broke up while trying to restore Château de Lucheux which shows how a building can affect everything.

Phil is the 'big jobs' person at the Chateau and always finding the ingenious way to solve the problems quickly and cheaply. He can usually be found somewhere with a large power tool or chainsaw or turning old pallets into something useful for the events!

Karen and Paul owned and commuted to the château for 16 years. The idea had always been to ultimately retire there. Sadly the pandemic has put an end to their dreams and now they have sold their property. But they don't regret a single day of their adventure.
