Why did I get a Southwest LUV voucher?

A LUV Voucher is a form of compensation that you receive from Southwest when you have an issue with your flight, luggage delays, etc. It's basically Southwest Airlines' way of saying “please come back and try us again.” LUV Vouchers are different from flight credits/travel funds.

Re: Unused Voucher According to the terms and conditions of the LUV voucher it can't be sold as it could void the voucher if someone at Southwest caught you selling it. You can however use it on anyone. If you want to dontate it i dont see why you couldn't. Hope this helps!

so a LUV voucher can be used by anyone but once ticketed with a LUV voucher it is becomes apart of a travel fund. when it is a travel fund it is non transferable and the fund remains in the name of the ticketed passenger(s).
