In news that Disney fans everywhere are likely to appreciate, the entertainment giant has announced that as of 2024 it will no longer require advance reservations in order to visit Disney parks with date-based tickets.

Today, Disney is still using the park reservation system, presumably to continue tracking the expected number of guests in each of its parks on a given day to better plan for staffing, food needs and more logistics.

Theme Park Reservations are required for every day you wish to visit the Parks- except for the two Water Parks. You will have to visit your My Disney Experience account and pick the Parks you wish to visit and on which day. Don't delay as the Park reservations can fill up!
It may be that you have not yet linked that ticket in your online account. Once that ticket is correctly linked, you should be able to log into that account and click on My Disneyland, Ticket and Reservation Details, and then you should see the prompt to make theme park reservations.

If you aren't able to find a reservation, theme park tickets are unfortunately non-refundable. However, there is some flexibility that comes with your theme park ticket and you can find another date to visit the theme parks and use your ticket in the future.
Walt Disney World Park Reservation Tips for PassholdersYou can only hold 3 park reservations at a time (unless you have a resort stay booked). It's recommended you book Disney's Hollywood Studios first, as this reservation goes the quickest.
Second, annual passholders may enter the parks after 2PM without a reservation, except for Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays. Blockout dates still apply for these guests. Third, and most important, there is a partial exception for guests who are park hopping, which we'll discuss next.
