Are beach chairs free on CocoCay?

Are there beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas available at Perfect Day at CocoCay? Absolutely! Beach chairs and umbrellas are complimentary to all of our guests and can be found throughout the island.

Yes, beach chairs and umbrellas are complimentary for all guests at Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay. You can find thousands of these "lounge-style" chairs throughout the island's free-access areas, including Chill Island, South Beach, and the Oasis Lagoon (the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean). The only areas where you would pay for seating are the "Upcharge" experiences, such as the Coco Beach Club (which requires a day pass) or the Hideaway Beach (the adults-only neighborhood). Additionally, while the standard chairs are free, private cabanas and daybeds are available for a premium rental fee. A high-value peer tip for 2026: beach towels are provided for free on the ship and can be exchanged at the island's towel stations, but you must return them to the ship to avoid a $25 "unreturned towel" fee. Arriving at the island early ensures you get your preferred "front-row" spot on the sand without spending a single extra dollar on your day in the Bahamas.
