How long do you spend at CocoCay?

How Long Do You Spend at CocoCay? You'll have around 8 to 10 hours to explore it all. You can even return to the ship and go back out to the island any time all day.

Most visitors spend approximately 8 to 10 hours at Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas. This duration is dictated by the ship's docking schedule, as the vessel typically arrives around 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM and departs between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Because the island is an extension of the ship, the experience is designed to be a full-day shore excursion where food and many amenities are included. You have ample time to experience the Thrill Waterpark, relax at the Coco Beach Club, or swim in the massive Oasis Lagoon. One of the major benefits of CocoCay is the convenience; since the ship is docked right at the pier, you can walk back and forth as often as you like, allowing families with small children to return to their staterooms for a nap and then come back out for more beach time. While the island is large, the complimentary tram service makes it easy to see all the major "neighborhoods" in a single day without feeling rushed, ensuring that even if you spend half the day relaxing at Chill Island, you can still catch a sunset cocktail before re-boarding.
