Can I share my Disney account with another household?

You may not share your account and subscription outside of your household. “Household” means the collection of devices associated with your primary personal residence that are used by the individuals who reside therein.

In 2026, Disney has strictly implemented paid sharing and account household restrictions, similar to Netflix's model. Your Disney+ and Disney account are officially intended for use by a single "Household," defined as the collection of devices associated with your primary residence. If the system detects consistent usage from a different geographical location, it may prompt the secondary user to create their own account or require the primary owner to pay an "Extra Member" fee. While you can still "link" accounts for vacation planning via the "My Disney Experience" app for "Friends and Family" (allowing you to share Lightning Lane and dining reservations), this does not grant the other household access to your streaming profile or private account details. Disney's sophisticated tracking of IP addresses and device IDs in 2026 makes traditional "password hopping" between different homes nearly impossible without triggering a security block or an additional charge.
