Can I use Rabbit Card at the airport?

You can't use the Rabbit card for either the ARL or MRT.

In 2026, you can purchase and top up a Rabbit Card at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), but you cannot use it to pay for the Airport Rail Link (ARL) train that takes you into the city. The Rabbit Card is primarily used for the BTS Skytrain (Green, Gold, Pink, and Yellow lines) and at various retail partners. The Airport Rail Link uses its own separate smart card and token system. However, many travelers pick up their pre-booked Rabbit Card at the "Klook" or "AIRPORTELs" counters on the B Floor near the ARL entrance so they are ready to use the Skytrain once they reach the city center. While the Rabbit Card hasn't yet integrated with the ARL or the MRT (Blue Line), it is increasingly accepted at airport food courts and convenience stores like Turtle or 7-Eleven within the terminal. If you are landing at BKK, you will still need to buy a separate ticket for the ARL (around 45 THB) to reach Phaya Thai station, where you can then tap your Rabbit Card to transfer to the BTS network.
