Can you recover Disney photos?

If you are not in a Disney Park and need to locate missing PhotoPass photos, you may submit a request online by completing the form with detailed information about the day, time, and your travel party. You may call PhotoPass Guest Support at (407) 560-4300 and relay the same information to your cast member.

Recovering lost or missing Disney PhotoPass photos is a common request, and Disney has a dedicated "Missing Photos" team to help. If a photo from a character meet-and-greet or a specific landmark doesn't appear in your My Disney Experience app within 24 hours, you should first check that your MagicBand or ticket was properly linked. If it still doesn't show up, you can fill out a Missing Photo Guest Research Form online or visit a PhotoPass center inside the parks. You will need to provide the date, approximate time, and location of the photo, along with a description of what your party was wearing. Disney's system allows them to scan through thousands of "unassigned" photos to find yours based on your description. For ride photos, having the specific ride name and time is vital. It is important to act quickly; photos typically expire and are deleted from the system 45 days after they were taken. If you are past that 45-day window, recovery is unfortunately highly unlikely as the digital files are purged to make room for new guests.
