Do I need to bring towels to Universal Volcano Bay?

Make sure you've got strong swimmers if you plan to do the Ohno and Ohyah drop slides. These two body slides plunge into a 10-foot-deep pool! Volcano Bay does not provide any free towels, so be sure to bring your own if you do not want to rent them (it costs $7).

Unlike the standard Universal Studios theme parks, you should bring your own towels to Volcano Bay if you want to avoid a rental fee. While towels are not provided for free to general admission guests, they are available for rent at the "Concierge" and "Locker" stations throughout the park for approximately $6 per towel. If you are staying at a Universal Orlando Resort hotel, you can bring the pool towels from your hotel to the water park, but you must remember to bring them back with you. However, for guests who book a Private Cabana or Premium Seating, complimentary towel service is included as part of the premium package. Most visitors find it more convenient and cost-effective to pack a lightweight, quick-dry microfiber towel in their bag. If you do forget, the rental process is simple and can be paid for with your "TapuTapu" wearable if you have a credit card linked to your account. There are multiple towel return bins located near the park exit, but make sure you aren't leaving your own personal towels in those bins by mistake!
