Does Tron have steep drops?

TRON Lightcycle / Run does not go upside down, but it does have big drops. There are also twists and turns throughout the ride — after all, you're racing on a motorbike.

TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom is officially categorized by Disney as having "big drops," though its intensity is often debated among thrill-seekers. The ride features a 78-foot tall structure, but it does not have a traditional, vertical "stomach-churning" drop like you would find on Expedition Everest or Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Instead, the "drops" are more akin to high-speed, banked curves and gradual descents that maintain the momentum of the lightcycles. The most intense part of the experience is the initial high-speed launch, which accelerates riders to nearly 60 mph in seconds. For those sensitive to drops, TRON is generally considered more manageable than Space Mountain or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, as the track is very smooth and the bike-style seating position changes the way your body perceives the G-forces. It is a fast, fluid experience designed to mimic the feeling of racing on the digital Grid.
