How do you fix a scratch on a RIMOWA?

All you need are cotton pads. 70% is a purple alcohol and a damp microfiber cloth. Apply the alcohol to your cotton pad. then wipe the scratch away.

RIMOWA generally advises that deep scratches and dents in their aluminum or polycarbonate cases should be embraced as a "unique patina" of your travels, as they cannot be fully removed. However, for surface-level scuffs, you can use a damp cloth or a non-abrasive sponge with warm water and a few drops of dish soap. For stubborn black marks on polycarbonate, a melamine sponge (like a Magic Eraser) can be effective when used gently. Aluminum cases are prone to scratches that reveal the raw metal underneath; while you cannot "buff" these out without damaging the finish, some owners use specialized metal polishes for minor brightening. For significant damage like broken wheels or cracked shells, RIMOWA’s dedicated service centers offer professional repairs that maintain the lifetime warranty of the case.
