How do you get Disney ride photos?

After several of the ride exits, you'll find a wall of monitors that show the ride photo images. You can tap your MagicBand or park ticket on the designated spot to have the photo sent to your My Disney Experience account.

In 2026, getting your Disney ride photos is a highly automated process integrated into the My Disney Experience (Walt Disney World) or Disneyland app. The most seamless way is by wearing a MagicBand+, which uses long-range Bluetooth technology to automatically link your on-ride photo to your account as you pass the camera. If you don't have a MagicBand, you can often use the "MagicMobile" feature on your smartphone; however, you must ensure your phone is powered on and Bluetooth is enabled while on the ride. At the end of many attractions, there are also "Preview Walls" where you can tap your park ticket or MagicBand under your photo to manually link it. In 2026, these photos are included for "free" digital download if you have purchased the Lightning Lane Multi Pass or the PhotoPass+ One Day package. For those without a package, individual digital photos can be purchased and downloaded directly through the app’s "Photos" section, usually appearing within minutes of the ride's conclusion.
