If you take the Eiger Express from the Grindelwald Terminal, the ride to the Eigergletscher station takes only 15 minutes. From there, you transfer to the traditional Jungfrau Railway cogwheel train for the final ascent through the mountain tunnel, which takes about 26 minutes. In total, the modern route takes approximately 45 to 50 minutes. If you choose the "classic" scenic route via the Wengernalpbahn train through Kleine Scheidegg, the journey is much slower, taking about 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes depending on connection times.
