How many hours a week do you work Disney College Program?
Every Disney College Program intern must have full availability for work, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Participants can expect to work 30-50 hours a week. During peak season, Disney may expect their interns to work more than 50 hours a week.

All Disney Programs require full availability for the entire length of the program. Disney Programs participants can request time off on the HUB once they arrive and have attended Traditions. Prior to the start of your program, we are unable to grant requests for time off.
Participants are responsible for the housing cost for their apartment each week (Sunday – Saturday) that they are on the program. Please review your signed payroll deduction request form for the weekly rate of your apartment.
Disney College Program HousingStudents who become part of the program can choose to live in Disney-owned housing complexes near the resorts, with rent payments taken directly from the students' pay for working at the parks.
Your requested departure date can be no more than three weeks prior to your original departure date. The deadline to request a school-related early release is seven weeks prior to your original departure date. Summer CE and Winter CE participants are not eligible for early departure.
One thing to keep in mind is successfully completing the Disney College Program does not guarantee future employment, such as a job or another internship. However, we'll do everything we can to set you up for success and help you prepare for your career after the program.

With thousands of eager students applying to the program every year, the competition is fierce. The Disney College Program acceptance rate currently rests at about 20%. The good news is that students who are rejected are always welcome to try again when the next round of applications opens up.
There are three different bedroom/bathroom apartment configurations, each designed for 4 people. You can choose from (from lower to higher cost order) a 2BR/2BA, with each bedroom and bathoom shared; a 4BR/2BA, with private bedroom and shared bathroom; or a 4BR/4BA with private bedrooms and bathrooms.
The stores will stay open for as long as there are people buying things. They don't ever kick you out. We've gotten some great pictures later at night by waiting around, but we've never stayed to be the last people in the park.

If you don't already know how to cook, it would be a good idea to learn before you arrive. Unlike college, the DCP does not offer meal plans and eating out will get very expensive. If you plan to live in housing, you should be aware there are very strict rules.
Complimentary TicketsIf you are at Walt Disney World Resort, you will have the opportunity to earn additional complimentary One-Day Park Hopper tickets so you can enjoy the parks with your family and friends, too. After working your first 150 hours, you'll earn your first set of complimentary tickets.
