What building is the Tower of Terror based on?

The architecture of the tower was inspired by multiple Southern California landmarks, such as the Biltmore Hotel and the Mission Inn. The building features 27,000 roof tiles. The outdoor queue area features the songs “Inside” by Fats Waller and “Mood Indigo” by Duke Ellington.

It's really not that bad. The buildup with the storyline is the scary part to me. This isn't like a superman tower like ride 30 story drop.. but it will drop you for 2-3 second and depending on the programming, it will do that up and down about 4-5 times.
