What is the Disney planned community in Florida?

Celebration is a master-planned community (MPC) and census-designated place (CDP) in Osceola County, Florida, United States. A suburb of Orlando, Celebration is located near Walt Disney World Resort and was originally developed by The Walt Disney Company.

The newest Disney-planned residential community in Florida is Cotino, part of the "Storyliving by Disney" brand, though it is located in California. However, within Florida, the primary community is Golden Oak, a multi-million dollar luxury residential enclave located on Walt Disney World property. A supportive peer "housing" update: for 2026, Disney is also completing its "Attainable Housing" project near the Hartzog Road area in Southwest Orange County. This 80-acre development, known as the Hartzog Road Attainable Housing Community, features over 1,300 units designed for Disney Cast Members and local residents within specific income brackets. This is a significant departure from the ultra-luxury of Golden Oak or the historic (now independent) town of Celebration, as it focuses on solving the regional housing crisis while maintaining the "Disney standard" of master-planned landscaping and community infrastructure.
