Pandora—The World of Avatar replaced the Animal Kingdom's Camp Minnie Mickey section which operated from 1998 to 2014. Camp Minnie Mickey originally acted as a placeholder for a land based around mythical creatures such as dragons. This vision finally came to fruition in a different form with Pandora.
Flight of Passage is a simulator type ride with soaring heights, drops, and quick turns. There's definitely a chance motion sickness will occur. The flying sensation feels very real, including a moment where the virtual banshee goes “upside down.” This is just simulated, the ride vehicle itself does not go upside down.

A good investment, you save a couple hours for around $14. Flight of Passage really took me on a journey. I'd go back to Animal Kingdom just for this ride.

It is no surprise this made it to the top of the list for our best rides at Disney for teens too! (Although we haven't had a chance to visit Galaxy's Edge yet.)
Disney CEO Bob Iger confirms that more Avatar is on the way for Disney theme parks, but not for Walt Disney World. As you might guess, with the Avatar franchise setting box office records left and right, Disney wants more of this blockbuster series in its theme parks.
For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.
Then families will come upon the main attraction: Flight of Passage. This ride is open to guests who are at least 44 inches tall, which is an average height for 5- and 6-year-olds.
At Flight of Passage, there are cubbies located on a wall behind the ride vehicles. The vehicles themselves configured like a motorcycle, with no floor on which to stow items.
