What time can you enter Typhoon Lagoon?

The water park hours at Disney World vary by season. During colder months, the standard is short days of 10AM to 5PM. Longer days of 10AM to 8PM happen during the summer months. We've heard of occasional early access for Disney resort guests in the past, but we haven't seen that recently.

Typhoon Lagoon, like all water parks, limits the number of guests who can be on a slide at any one time. That makes for long lines for most of the day. We've got a special one-day touring plan for Typhoon Lagoon that gets you to as much of the park as possible during your visit.

Dress Code Jeans (denim) and wetsuits (neoprene) are not permitted on the following attractions at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park: Bay Slides, Humunga Kowabunga, Ketchakiddee Creek and Storm Slides. For safety, diaper-age children must wear plastic pants or swim diapers in pool areas.

Typhoon Lagoon generally does not close for rain, even if it is heavy. The good news is that Guests can usually continue to enjoy pools and slides in the rain, as long as there isn't lightning in the area. If there is, Guests will be asked to exit all water areas.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will close for the season on November 6, 2023, to undergo its annual multi-month refurbishment. Its closure coincides with the November 6 reopening of Blizzard Beach, which was announced on the morning of October 20.

Rhonda, you are allowed to wear water shoes at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. For most all attractions there, you'll even be able to wear them down the water slides. Do make sure they are true water shoes, however, as flip flops are not permitted on the water slides themselves.

Bring your own towels At Typhoon Lagoon they do have towels to rent. You're required to make a non-refundable payment in order to take them.

While there are lockers at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, they're not quite big enough to store your luggage for the day. You would definitely need to leave those bags with Bell Services at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, make a splash at the water park, and then head back to grab them.

As soon as the park opens, make your way to a seating area near to lots of trees - if you are there early you should have no trouble finding somewhere suitable. There is also a nice quiet and shaded area close to the entrance of 'Crush n Gusher'.

You can use your MagicBands as your admission ticket to both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon (as long as you have Water Parks, Fun and More Options left on your Magic Your Way Tickets). Also the Magic Bands are waterproof so you can wear them in the water at the water parks.
