Can you take phones on rides at Volcano Bay?

Are phones allowed on the rides? - Universal Volcano Bay. ?Are phones allowed on the rides?? Helpful? No you cant.

Generally, you cannot take phones on the slides at Universal’s Volcano Bay for safety and property reasons. On high-speed "body slides" like the Ko’okiri Body Plunge or Kala & Tai Nui, all loose items—including phones, cameras, and even footwear—are strictly prohibited. For the "raft rides" like Honu ika Moana, you might be able to use a phone if it is in a secure, waterproof pouch around your neck, but lifeguards have the final say and may ask you to tuck it inside your life vest or leave it in a locker. In 2026, Volcano Bay is designed to be a "phone-free" experience thanks to the TapuTapu wearable, which handles your virtual lines and even triggers "interactive" photos around the park that are sent directly to your account. The best strategy is to rent a locker for the day and only bring your phone out during breaks for photos at the Waturi Beach wave pool, keeping your hands free for the thrills.
