How long do PhotoPass take to show up?

A: Please allow up to 24 hours after your Disney PhotoPass photos are captured before they are added to your account.

Disney PhotoPass photos typically show up in your My Disney Experience app within minutes to a few hours, but Disney officially advises that it can take up to 24 hours for all media to appear. In 2026, the system is highly automated; photos taken by photographers or on attractions (like Space Mountain or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind) use RFID technology to link directly to your MagicBand+ or ticket. Occasionally, a photo might "go missing" if the technology fails to recognize your band; if this happens, you can use the "Find Missing Photos" tool in the app or visit a PhotoPass center in the parks, where staff can manually search for your image using the time and location. Remember that photos expire 45 days after they are taken, so you must download them before then unless you have a one-time 15-day extension. If you have purchased Memory Maker, ensure your account is properly linked to see the "unwatermarked" versions of your images.
