Can you walk to Epcot from Walt Disney World Swan Reserve?

Epcot®: Walking: When exiting behind the Swan resort, bear to your right and walk to Disney's BoardWalk Resorts.Walk on the boardwalk until it ends and bear to the right until you reach Epcot. Walking time is approximately 10-15 minutes.
Water taxis take our guests to Disney's BoardWalk, the Disney's Hollywood Studios™ and Epcot® approximately every 20 – 25 minutes, starting 1 hour before the parks open*. You will be able to board the water taxi from the boat dock located by the covered walkway between the Swan and Dolphin wings.

It's also less than 20-30 minute walk from Dolphin to Epcot/Hollywood Studios. For Animal Kingdom / Magic Kingdom - Walk to the bus stop in front of the Boardwalk hotel, as the Disney buses are quicker than the ones the Dolphin provides.
If you are able to walk past all of the tempting pavilions, (what willpower!) your trip around World Showcase is about 1.3 miles. Sooo, considering the fact that you may have strollers and other obstacles in your way, I would allow 30 minutes just to be safe.
The walk from the Resort Area to Hollywood Studios follows along the east (right on the map) side of the narrow body of water running from the Resort Area, between the Walt Disney World Swan Resort and Disney's Boardwalk Inn and Villas, under E. Buena Vista Dr. to Hollywood Studios.
How do Swan and Dolphin guests get to the Disney parks? Given the proximity to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, Swan and Dolphin guests could walk or take a water taxi to either of those parks. On the flip side, Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom are only accessible by bus.

Can you see fireworks from the Swan and Dolphin? Yes. The hotels are located about midway between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. All three hotels offer at least a few rooms with views of fireworks.
Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon lagoon all change an entrance fee. Disney Springs and all the Resort Hotels are free to look around. Avanti resort is on I drive and has free shuttles to disney.
Of course, with so much to ride, eat, see, and do, you could spend at least one full day at Epcot, and some guests staying for a week opt to visit more than once, coming back another afternoon to take advantage of the restaurants and entertainment.
While you might not be able to get absolutely everything in the park done in a day (with the near-constant stream of Epcot festivals, there's often just too much to see, do, and eat), you will certainly be able to accomplish most or all of the rides, plus make a dent in whatever else strikes your fancy around World ...
In general, you should think of Epcot as a two-day park. There's so much to see and do that you really need a couple of days to enjoy everything without feeling like you're rushing through the park. But we recognize that most people can't or won't give two of their precious days at Disney to Epcot.
If you've never walked along Disney's BoardWalk before, you are in for a treat. EPCOT's International Gateway entrance is just a five to ten-minute walk to Disney's Boardwalk. Along the BoardWalk, you'll find shops, dining, classic arcade games, and Surrey bikes for rent.
