Does Volcano Bay have over 30 unique experiences?

Things to do | Universal's Volcano Bay™ With over 30 unique experiences and 18 different attractions, it's a theme park like no other.

Universal's Volcano Bay water theme park in Orlando, Florida, technically offers 19 unique attractions and experiences, but when you include the interactive elements, dining, and shopping, it can feel like much more. The park's standout feature is its TapuTapu wearable technology, which allows you to virtually "wait in line" for rides and trigger interactive "Totem" effects throughout the park. The 19 main attractions are divided into three villages: Wave Village, River Village, and Rainforest Village, and include the massive Krakatau Aqua Coaster, high-thrill body slides, and multiple raft rides. While the number of distinct rides is less than 30, the "total experiences" (including the specialized island-themed food, private cabanas, and the 200-foot-tall volcano itself) create a full day of activity. In 2026, many visitors consider the park's immersive "After Dark" events as a separate, unique experience, where the entire park is lit up with vibrant LEDs and features live music and exclusive nighttime-only menus.

Express Pass at VB is VITAL on busy days. I rarely buy UXP for the other parks, but it's a must there. If you've never been or used the Tapu Tapu system it's great, but on very busy days it can't handle the crowds. Buying UXP eliminates that.
